Supply Chain Center Officially Launches its N-SRM System
Guided by LONGi’s management principles of “leading products, efficient operation, pragmatic collaboration, and steady management” and its IT-driven strategy, the next-generation supply chain management platform, known as N-SRM system, has been fully developed and put in use on November 9, 2020. Based on modern supply chain managerial theories and technical approaches, N-SRM will enable us to build an industrial-leading supply chain ecosystem that will ensure success, efficiency, low-cost for all our production and operation activities, and will make the system one of LONGi’s core competitiveness. The inquiry function on the old SRM system remains accessible. Before N-SRM was officially put in use, two live training sessions for suppliers were aired on October 21 and 26. The training included presentation lecturing, demonstration, and answering questions raised by suppliers. The training program was well received by suppliers, with enthusiastic trainees adding up to over 1,000. Over the past month, the system has been running stably and effectively, with 50 questions from suppliers addressed.
